What a month May has been, roll on June we are ready for the next set of challenges and adventures!
Something a Little Different
Its not every day you get asked to create two sets of 4ft lettering for two festivals, as well as being asked to decorate a DJ booth! This is something that we had never made before and our workshop was full of lettering and our summer house was the temporary home for the DJ booth.
We have to say it was a lot of work, but well worth it! The letters look amazing once they were painted and varnished and one set is already on display.
The Harlequins Rugby Team
May was a month for challenges and when we got the email from Mark Lambert of the Harlequins rugby team we new that it was going to be one of our biggest ones yet.
Mark ordered a mega surfboard in pine which was to incorporate the Harlequins anniversary logo & the shirt of his fellow player Matt Hopper who was leaving. This was a challenging set of artwork for Kevin to paint, and it was also against the clock. We had 48hrs to get the artwork painted, varnished & out for a delivery in time for the Saturday game, when it was presented to Matt as a leaving present from his team mates.
We received a photograph this week from Mark to say that the mega board was a hit & it was gladly received and in time for Matt's last game with the Harlequins.

Orders that have gone out this month
Lots of tables and mini surfboards have been made & sent out this month, we can't share all the pictures as some are presents! Our current lead time on table orders is approximately four weeks.
Fathers Day is on the 18th June
We are taking orders for Fathers Day presents, unfortunately this is for Mini Surfboards and Key rings only, as we have a waiting list for table tops & the current delivery date is after Fathers Day.
